Assalamualaikum
Hi my name is Fatin Liyana. Im going to tell you a short story about myself.
This is me when I was 3. I am the only daughter among my siblings. I was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1989. Mickey mouse was like the biggest thing ever back in the 90s, hence..the hat. I was raised in a very academic-oriented family as my mother used to be a teacher back in the old days. My childhood days wasn't that interesting though. My life revolved around revision books & story books. I used to read alot when I was little. We even had a small library at home!
During my school years, I never joined any tuition class because I have my wonderful mother and my father to teach me. Dad was an engineer. He is very good with calculations. On the other hand, mom is even good in everything. She was my private teacher/tuition teacher. We used to burn the midnight oil everytime I had an exam!
Needless to say, because of my strict childhood brought up, I managed to get into a medical school and secure myself with a scholarship. Im truly glad that I don't have to burden my parents with my university fee & pocket money. As years go by, I then finally graduated from the medical school. That was the happiest moment in my life. For once, Ive never seen my parents smiling all proud all the way through the ceremony.
After I graduated, a guy came to meet my dad and expressed his purest intention to marry me. I have a special bond with my dad. I am my mother's best friend but I'm my dad's girlfriend. Dad always has this soft spot towards me. He treats me like his little girl. It was a long discussion when my dad finally willing to open up. My father and I, we never discuss anything like this. It was hard at first for us. Then...for all we know..
I want to experience again the happiest moment in my life. But this time, I want to share it with my other half... :')
